Cyber Incident Response Fundamentals: Hands-On Preparation for the First 24 Hours
It’s happened: you’ve been hit with a cyber incident. What to do?
This hands-on training will prepare attendees to properly respond to cyber security incidents during the critical early stages of an event. We’ll discuss triaging, log review, containment, evidence collection, and documentation. Through scenarios and practical exercises, students will practice responding to cyber security incidents. The course is designed for IT professionals, security personnel, and others who may assist an organization with responding to incidents.
For the best experience, plan to bring your own laptop. (If bringing a work laptop, make sure you have Administrator privileges.) We’ll let you know any software requirements before the end of this week.
