…bad day for the Knights Templar, but a good day for Philadelphia Infragard. Why?
Because we are holding our Q3 Chapter Meeting and Town Hall back at Penn State Great Valley the morning of Friday 09/13/24 and we would very much like for you to join us!
Below, please find the agenda for our Friday, September 13th 2024 chapter meeting.
Registration/Breakfast/Networking (0800 – 0845)
Topic 1: Scattered Spider/the Com/BlackCat (0845-0950)
Earlier this year, 60 Minutes aired a segment on Scattered Spider, one of the many English-speaking hacking groups with expertise in social engineering. These groups, collectively referred to as the Com are now teaming up with Russian hackers to become an even greater threat. In this session, you will hear about these threats, directly from the FBI’s point of view.
Break (0950-1000)
Topic 2: Russian Election Inteference (1000-1105)
November 5th 2024 isn’t just National Redhead Day or Guy Fawkes Day, it’s also the day we’re going to hold our next general election hers in the United States. Earlier this year, DNI Haines stated to a Congressional Committee that Russia remains the most active foreign threat to our elections. For a strategic overview of Russia’s cyber efforts against the 2016 election, we will hear from former Intelligence Community member John Fileppo who was directly involved with this threat.
Break (1105-1115)
Topic 3: Chapter Update/Town Hall (1115-1230)
After an update about InfraGard Philadelphia’s progress and changes at InfraGard National, we are going to open up this session so that any attendee can ask questions, provide suggestions, and offer compliments/complaints/feedback about any Infragard-related topic. To answer your questions will be select board members and our FBI PSC, Rose Vesci. We’re looking to get feedback, direction and guidance from the chapter so we can plan effectively at our 2025 planning retreat and so we can provide feedback to InfraGard National at the upcoming congress.
